NATIONAL SLEDGE TEAM ON THE ROAD TO VANCOUVER
En route to the Paralympic Winter Games, Canada’s National Sledge Team boarded a bus in Calgary on
February 27 and will practice in Kimberley, Trail and Kelowna, B.C. before arriving in the Paralympic Village
in Vancouver on March 6.

LABONTE TO CARRY

National Sledge Team captain Jean Labonté has been selected to carry the Canadian flag and lead Canada’s
53-athlete delegation into the Opening Ceremony of the Paralympics on March 12 in Vancouver. »
